  1. A pairwise Pearson's correlation was done to evaluate the relationship between biomarker levels in the young and old subjects combined. The r2 values for each pairwise correlation is shown. The r2 values ≥ 0.75 were used to identify networks using Ingenuity Pathway Analysis (IPA). In data not shown Akt, NFκB and TGFβ pathways were common among these biomarkers.
