  1. Age was analyzed by T-test and BMI was analyzed by Mann–Whitney U test. Micro-inflammation (IL-6), smoking and hypertension were analyzed by logistic regression with IL-6 levels ≤1 ng/L as reference and 1.1–2.0 ng/L (intermediate) and >2 ng/L (high) as predictors, as well as no smoking or no hypertension as reference
