Spearman correlation coefficients (r_s) and p values for CMV⁻ and CMV⁺ persons and for the whole cohort are shown. p < 0.05 was considered significant. For all subpopulations, N_CMV⁻ = 33, N_CMV⁺ = 26, N_all = 59. Detailed gating strategy used to define the populations and representative FACS plots are shown in Fig. 3 and Supplementary Fig. 3
