Vega et al. (2020) have exposed human monocyte-derived macrophages to the TLR ligand CL264 and have measured the transcriptional regulation of the transcription factors MAFB and MAF within hours following exposure. Stimulation with CL264 induced an increase in the transcript load for MAFB, whereas MAF mRNA levels were decreased, thereby increasing the MAFB/MAF ratio in TLR7-stimulated monocyte-derived macrophages
